Scottish Employment Rights Network - SERN

The Scottish Employment Rights Network exists to support those who offer information, advice and representation on rights of work. For over 11 years SERN has sought to improve access to justice for those involved in employment rights disputes and to promote changes in employment law and practice to strengthen workers rights. SERN is a membership organisation with membership open to individuals and organisations  interested in furthering this work. SERN currently has around 78 members ranging from the Equal Opportunities Commission. the Scottish Low Pay Unit, the STUC, the Commission for Racial Equality and Citizens Advice Scotland.

SERN has recently been involved in moving towards creating standards for the delivery of advice and assistance in employment rights which would provide standards at a range of levels for both individuals and organisations.
